Lily’s Rescue Rehab is not an animal shelter. We are a dedicated resource for local shelters and foster organizations. Our mission is to rehabilitate dogs that have been deemed unadoptable, providing them with the specialized care, training, and support they need to thrive and find their forever homes.
Holistic and alternative therapies play a crucial role in reducing stress, alleviating physical discomfort, and improving the overall well-being of rescue dogs. These treatments—such as animal chiropractic, acupuncture, cold laser therapy, and anxiety management—help address underlying issues that may have made adoption difficult, allowing the dogs to heal both physically and emotionally.
While Lily’s Rescue Rehab provides rehabilitation services, the dogs remain under the care of our shelter and foster partners. If you’re interested in adopting, simply click the application link below the pet’s profile. The shelter or foster organization managing the dog’s care will reach out to you to guide you through the next steps, including scheduling a meet-and-greet.
Volunteering at Lily’s Rescue Rehab requires completing an interview and training process. Because many of the pets in our care are high-risk and require specialized attention, we carefully select volunteers who can meet the needs of these dogs and support their rehabilitation safely and effectively.
For the well-being of the pets in our care, we do not offer in-person tours during normal operations. Tours can create unnecessary stress for the dogs and interrupt their rehabilitation. However, we offer virtual tours on our website so you can see how we’re making a difference.
Note: We may host open house or fundraising events in the future, which could include opportunities for tours. Stay connected with us for updates.
There are many impactful ways to support our mission beyond financial contributions:
Your advocacy is invaluable to us and to the dogs in our care.
Lily’s Rescue Rehab works directly with shelters and foster organizations to rehabilitate dogs that would otherwise face significant challenges finding homes. By addressing behavioral and health issues through individualized care, we help transform these dogs into adoptable companions, easing the burden on shelters and improving outcomes for the animals.
Yes! Dogs adopted through the Lily’s Rescue Rehab program are eligible to receive ongoing training and treatments even after adoption. To ensure a smooth transition into their new homes, we offer these services at a discounted rate for adopters. This helps maintain consistency in their care and training, providing the best possible start to their new life with you.
Together, we can make a bigger impact.
